Topic: Professional Identity Formation
Professional Identity Formation is the process through which individuals internalize the values, behaviors, and sense of purpose that define their profession. In physical therapy education, this development extends beyond clinical skill acquisition to include reflection, mentorship, and engagement within the professional community. This session will highlight how Clinical Instructors can intentionally support students’ evolving professional identity and promote growth as competent, compassionate practitioners.
